ANT McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's fans will have the pleasure of seeing the duo onscreen again in a TV special marking their 30 years in the business.

While Ant is believed to be taking a break from telly for the rest of the year, viewers will be able to watch highlights from the beloved co-hosts' career in a new Channel 5 documentary.

The show will feature some of the duo's most memorable moments and will see some of their famous friends share their favourite Ant and Dec anecdotes.

Among the stars will be TV presenter Peter Andre, who wrote in his New! magazine column: "Last week I filmed a TV segment for Ant and Dec’s 30th anniversary, which was good fun!

"I’m unsure when it will air, but it was great to take a trip down memory lane and remember the great things I’ve been involved in with the boys over the years.

"Everything from living above them 22 years ago, when they were PJ and Duncan, to appearing in various shows with them."

The TV special comes shortly after Ant cancelled all his work commitments and booked into a private clinic after his Mini smashed into two cars in South West London on March 18.

He was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £86,000 at Wimbledon magistrates’ court after admitting drink- driving.

Ant was twice over the legal drink drive limit.

However, the star got the nod last week to continue his treatment outside the clinic and was pictured looking fresh-faced when walking his dog in a west London park shortly after.

Ant missed two live episodes of Saturday Night Takeaway while in rehab — leaving his TV partner of 29 years, Dec Donnelly, to host the show alone.

ITV confirmed last month that Dec will also front the live episodes of Britain's Got Talent without his co-host.

"We send Ant all our love. And we know that Dec will do a brilliant job," they said in a statement.
