Jenna Dewan puts her wedding ring back ON as she reveals she’s ‘still great friends’ with Channing Tatum after split
JENNA Dewan stepped out with her wedding ring firmly back on her finger this week - after admitting she's still 'great friends' with ex Channing Tatum in a new interview.
The Step Up star, 37, set tongues wagging as she rocked her sparkler at a public event and even for a low-key day running errands.
Dazzling in a red dress at the NBC Universal Summer bash, Jenna made no attempt to hide her ring as she smiled for a sea of photographers with her left hand on her hip.
The timing is certainly interesting given that Jenna recently opened up about her relationship with Channing - who was recently pictured without his wedding ring - in an interview for Vegas magazine.
Despite the pair calling time on their marriage earlier this year, Jenna insisted they are still on very good terms.
She confessed: "Ultimately, no matter what Chan and I are doing, we're really great friends. I think that will never change, no matter what."
The dancer also spoke of their instant chemistry when they met on the set of Step Up back in 2005.
"When we met it felt like we had known each other for many years," Jenna enthused.
The pair married in a charming fairy tale ceremony in 2009, before welcoming their first and only child, Everly, in 2013.
Jenna and Channing shocked the world in April when they announced they were separating.
Confirming the news in a heartfelt statement, they wrote: "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple.
"We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together.
"Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.
"There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realising it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible.
"We are still a family and will always be loving dedicated parents to Everly."
