DECLAN Donnelly was racked with fear as a magician hurled a knife at him on tonight's Britain's Got Talent.
Andrew Lee, 31, from Malaysia, performed a card trick with a difference which had the audience and judges peering through their fingers.
After Dec selected a card from a deck at random, Andrew tore it so there was no doubting his pick.
The magician then handed the cards to Ant McPartlin and placed a lead vest on Dec before brandishing a knife on the other side of the stage and putting on a blindfold.
Dec screwed up his face as he prepared for the knife throw.
On Andrew's command Ant threw the cards up into the air and thge magician flung the knife at Dec, skewering a card against the metal vest.
Dec breathed a huge sigh of relief and then was left stunned when it was revealed his torn card was the one pinned to him.
The jaw-dropping stunt earned Andrew four yeses and viewers loved it, writing on Twitter: "The magician on #BGT who threw the knife at @antanddec Dec was amazing.
"Think the card. Knife person threw me over the edge #bgt.
"The card trick with the knife had me on edge...They're so amazing but terrifying at the same time... LOVE Magic!
"Oh my god the knife guy 😳😮 #BGT poor Dec @antanddec 😂."
Earlier in the show Ant and Dec wiggled their hips and did a little bump 'n' grind with Britain's Got Talent hopeful Donchez Dacres.
The 60-year-old's original song Wiggle Wine inspired judge David Walliams to hit his golden buzzer as the Caribbean-flavoured tune had everybody up on their feet.
Midway through the infectious tune Ant and Dec sashayed out and did the Wiggle Wine beside Donchez to the delight of the audience.
The Geordie duo spurred Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and Walliams into life as they each made their way onto the stage to get involved.
Alesha and Dec did some dirty dancing before the performance made its way to the judges' desk, where Simon Cowell remained firmly behind.
The Mis-Teeq singer said afterwards: "We can't believe it, you brought the island vibe."
Amanda added: "I'm so thrilled David pressed his golden buzzer for you."
While David said: "I've wiggled by body, I've wound my body, but I've never done the two things at once. You are like a ray of sunshine."
Even though he didn't get off his feet, Simon was clearly impressed, telling the audience: "You could have just seen the winner of Britain's Got Talent."
