Emilia Clarke and Thandie Newton look out of this world as they are joined by Star Wars legends at Han Solo premiere

EMILIA Clarke looked out of this world at the premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story in Los Angeles on Thursday night.
The British actress stars in the new movie - which is an origin story about the character made famous by Harrison Ford in the original Star Wars trilogy - alongside Alden Ehrenreich.
Emilia, 31, went all out for the premiere, wearing a burgundy floral gown by Valentino, which featured an off the shoulder, ruffled neckline and a sweeping skirt.
With her blonde hair pulled back off her face, Emilia - who plays Qi'ra in the film - showed off some statement earrings as she posed for pictures.
She was joined by her co-star Alden, 28, who plays the young Han Solo in the movie.
Also in attendance was Thandie Newton, who plays a character called Val in the flick.
The 45-year-old also looked sensational in a black Dior gown which consisted of a sheer fabric covered in small white discs wrapped around her torso and floor-length skirt which revealed her legs.
Thandie wore a pair of high waisted black shorts underneath and showed off her fantastic figure for the paps.
The stars were joined by the film's director, Ron Howard, as well as famous faces from past Star Wars movies including Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.
Scottish actor Ewan McGregor, who played Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi in the prequel trilogy, also attended, looking handsome in a monochrome ensemble.
Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca in the original films, also made sure he was there to celebrate the latest addition to the Star Wars franchise.
Other stars to attend included Peyton List, who followed Thandie's lead and wore a dress with a see-through skirt.
Modern Family's Sofia Vergara arrived with her handsome husband Joe Manganiello, showing off her curves in a cute white prom-style dress.
The couple, who married in 2015, put on a loved up display on the red carpet as they held hands and smiled adoringly at each other.
Meanwhile Alexandra Daddario attended in a pretty floral gown, while Jaime King wore a tired dress featuring different coloured layers.
Christina Milian opted for a shorter number, revealing her curves in a white fringed dress.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is released in the UK on May 25.
