Cheryl lands in Cannes Film Festival on a private jet without baby Bear after missing last year’s event – but can’t wait to go to bed

CHERYL has touched down at Cannes Film Festival after missing the event last year.

She arrived on a private jet shortly after half past 12 and posted a stunning video of her glamorous surroundings.

Cheryl, 34, has left her young son Bear at home for the work trip.

During her time at the glamorous Film Festival, Cheryl will walk a number of red carpets as a representative for L’Oréal.

She appeared to be in great spirits as she boarded a private jet with pals in the UK.

Cheryl posed for a picture when they touched down on French soil - much to the delight of her fans.

But it seems she’s still suffering from some sleepless nights with her baby son, as he joked with fans she couldn’t stop sleeping.

Posting a video from the car on the way to her hotel, Cheryl said: “So we have arrived at Cannes, and I’ve already had one nap.

“Trust us…I am planning on squeezing in another one!”

It’s believed Cheryl will make her first red carpet appearance tonight alongside a number of big name stars.

Her ex-husband, Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini is already in town and although the stars regularly rub shoulders, it’s likely Cheryl will be avoiding any award run-ins.

Since he arrived, the businessman has wasted no time in giving interviews and this morning told Good Morning Britain he was still looking for love.

He joked: “I've come to Cannes with three ex-girlfriends, so it just goes into the same box. There's nothing weird.

“Another year with a future girlfriend, and hopefully this one will be the right one.”

Cheryl was forced to miss the event last year while she was pregnant with Bear.

She stayed almost completely out of the limelight when she was expecting and only stepped back into the public eye for a brief perfume signing.
