Lisa Maxwell is an English actress and TV presenter, who is well loved for her role in The Bill.
Born on 24th November 1963 in Elephant and Castle, London, she is currently 54 years old.
She is married to Paul Jessup, who she proposed to February 28, 2012 after being together since 1997.
The couple welcomed a daughter called Beau in October 2009.
When was Lisa Maxwell in The Bill?
Lisa appeared in The Bill between 2002 and 2009, playing Detective Inspector Samantha Nixon.
She later revealed the show had taken a toll on her private life and she had tragically suffered two miscarriages in 2008.
Speaking to the Mirror about her 14-hour days, she said: "I left because I wanted to have my private life back.
"I’d had two miscarriages and my husband and I weren’t getting along great, and my daughter was three when I went in it and ten or something when I left.”
What else she is Lisa Maxwell known for?
Following her stint on The Bill, Lisa joined The Loose Women panel, which she stayed on until 2014.
She later said she didn’t view it as a “real job” and that it mainly involved "getting drunk and misbehaving".
Lisa had a brief stint in EastEnders in September 2013, playing Naomi, the girlfriend of David Wicks.
In 2016 she joined Hollyoaks as Tracey Donovan, the mother of Grace Black and her half-brothers Adam, Liam and Jesse before leaving in 2017.

Lisa Maxwell has been confirmed as a contestant for the 2018 series of Celebrity MasterChef.
Although an exact start date for the series has yet to be confirmed it is likely to air in September.
Lisa will be competing against other stars such as Gemma Collins, Carol Decker and Spencer Matthews.
The competition will be judged by John Torode and Greg Wallace.
