LOVE Island’s narrator star Iain Stirling is desperate for Danny Dyer’s daughter Dani to take part in this year’s show.

The Sun Online previously revealed that the 22-year-old was a top choice for ITV bosses after impressing them during her brief stint on Survival Of The Fittest and it seems Iain agrees.

The Scotsman said at BUILD yesterday:  “She was great on Survival Of The Fittest and I really liked her.

“I also really like Danny Dyer as a concept of a human, and I’d like if she was involved in it for me to for me to be able to be near Danny Dyer in some way.”

The EastEnders actor’s daughter was forced to leave Survival Of The Fittest earlier this year after she dislocated her shoulder in the first challenge of the series.

But despite her premature exit, Dani proved so popular with viewers that Love Island producers are desperate to give her another shot on screen by getting her in the villa next month.

A source told The Sun Online last month: "Dani's bright and bubbly personality really captured the attention of the viewers and the Love Island team.

"They're determined to sign her up and are confident fans of the show will love watching her try to find romance this summer."

And yesterday the show’s host, Caroline Flack, revealed that anything can happen on the ITV2 show – including people entering at different points.

Speaking at BUILD alongside Iain, she said: "This is the truth - the show produces itself. There’s no, ‘we’ll have an eviction here or another there’.

“When they put people in, like Muggy Mike last year, it’s because of what’s going on in the villa. I don’t think they can plan anything.”

The newly-engaged presenter also confirmed that we really are in for a long hot summer, as the show has been extended.

“We are here for an extra week longer,” Caroline said.

“And a week in ‘Love Island’ relationships is like a year in real relationships - and a lot can happen in a year... It’s going to be the longest ever.”
