Chantelle Connelly suns herself on holiday in Marbella after being made bankrupt
The tattooed star stripped down to her bikini to soak up the sunshine with friends after jetting abroad to escape her money troubles
CHANTELLE Connelly stripped down to a bikini to sunbathe in Marbella as she tries to take her mind off being made bankrupt.
The ex-Geordie Shore star travelled abroad amid money troubles following her GBH conviction for punching a woman in a brawl in Newcastle in 2016.
She refused to comment after official papers showed the 28-year-old asked to make herself insolvent.
Her solicitor claimed she lost work after being found guilty of smacking a woman on a boozy night out in a jealous rage over her ex.
Chantelle repeatedly asked victim Lauren Alexander if she had "gone with" her ex Tommy Sayers during the attack in Newcastle.
Then she grabbed the victim's phone and looked through it for Tommy's name before jumping in front of her and punching her in the face.
The star sent Lauren flying into a wall during the boozy spat on October 28, 2016.
She needed three stitches to her mouth and also suffered two fractures in her wrist during the attack.
Chantelle quickly rose to fame on the 12th series of the MTV show, but quit after just one series.
She earned cash endorsing products on her Instagram account after leaving the reality TV programme, but this ended after Chantelle was convicted at Newcastle Magistrates' Court.
Chantelle was fined £3,205 and sentenced to 200 hours of unpaid work.
Her solicitor claimed the fine would have a “catastrophic” impact on her finances.
She has now been declared bankrupt, but is spending the week in Marbella to escape her troubles.
Chantelle confirmed that she was leaving Geordie Shore after only one series, proclaiming there was "more important things than reality TV".
She made her announcement on Twitter, and wrote: "Fame and money isn’t everything… Health and happiness is!!"
But she later admitted: “I walked away from the biggest opportunity of my life for love and I regret that."
