Tom Hardy goes down a storm with his bald head at the Royal Wedding as viewers hail it ‘better than the Oscars’

TOM Hardy caused a stir at the Royal Wedding with his shaved head – as fans called the star-studded ceremony “better than the Oscars”.

People watching the celebrity arrivals on television couldn’t hide their shock at some of the huge names arriving at St George’s chapel in Windsor ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day.

But Tom, who shaved his head to play Al Capone in his latest film, got the biggest reaction alongside his wife Charlotte Riley.

Many couldn’t work out why he was there and joked they had no idea he had such an in with the Royal family.

One tweeted: “Tom Hardy is at this wedding. This wedding is actually better than the Oscars.”

Another said: “Omg tom hardy is going to the royal wedding???? maybe i should watch it after all.”
