Coronation Street spoilers: Michelle Connor and ex Steve McDonald kiss on her wedding day after Robert Preston is accused of cheating
The bride’s ex delivers some bad news about the groom on her wedding day as he reveals Robert is still taking drugs
MICHELLE Connor’s marriage to Robert Preston is thrown into chaos in Coronation Street next week when her ex Steve McDonald kisses her following Robert being accused of sleeping with a married woman.
But it’s not Robert, played by Tristan Gimmel in the ITV soap, who’s actually done the dirty with a taken woman, it’s actually Michelle’s prodigal son, Ryan Connor.
When Ryan goes missing on the morning of the wedding after getting bladdered, poor Michelle, Kym Marsh, is left wondering if the occasion is doomed.
Ryan goes awol shortly after Michelle’s grieving uncle, Johnny, calls to tell her he won’t be coming to the ceremony as he doesn’t feel up to it so soon after Aidan’s suicide.
While Michelle panics about the wedding, Robert and Daniel Osbourne go on the hunt to find missing in action Ryan.
The men finally trace him to a flat where he’s spent the night with a woman but when her furious husband returns and wants to know which one of the random men she slept with, Ryan points the finger at Robert.
When Robert and Daniel finally arrive back on the Street with Ryan in tow, the groom assures Michelle that nothing is going to spoil their big day – famous last words.
He doesn’t count on Michelle’s ex-husband Steve McDonald confronting her with the news Ali Neeson gave him last week.

Steve steals himself to tell Michelle that not only is Robert still taking steroids, but he suffered a heart attack and didn’t bother to tell her that either.
He then says that she’s too good for Robert and leans in to kiss her, just as Robert walks in and sees the whole thing.
But will Michelle respond to Steve’s kiss?
