What time is Mo Salah: A Football Fairy Tale on?

The programme airs on Channel 4 at 10pm on May 22.

The documentary explores the "fairy tale" element of Mo Salah's career and ascent from humble beginnings to being crowned PFA’s Player of the Year.

It explores the Egyptian star's prowess on the pitch as well as his life beyond the field.

And takes a look into his - at times rocky - road to commercial and professional success.

Who's featured in Mo Salah: A Football Fairy Tale?

Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and former footballer and regular pundit Gary Lineker line up to bow down to the Egyptian king.

Both sing their praises of the star who is adored by footie commentators and supporters alike.

The documentary comes ahead of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool on Saturday, May 26.

What teams has Mo Salah played for?

Mo joined Liverpool from Roma in 2017 and made 36 appearances in 2017-18 season.

He was awarded the Premier League Golden Boot after scoring his 32nd goal in the last game of the season against Brighton.

He started his career at Egyptian club El Mokawloon in 2010 before joining Basel in 2012.

From there he moved to Chelsea, but was only capped 13 times with loans out to Fiorentina and Roma.

He joined Roma full-time in 2016.

Mo has payed for the Egypt national team since 2011.
