Emmerdale’s Anthony Quinlan carries luggage for Strictly dancer girlfriend Dianne Buswell as he supports her on tour
EMMERDALE heartthrob Anthony Quinlan proved himself to be the ultimate gent by carrying his lady's luggage.
The 33-year-old soap star helped girlfriend Diane Buswell out by wheeling her red suitcase which matched her signature flaming locks.
The couple had exited the stage door of the Derngate Theatre in Northampton after the first day of Kevin and Karen Clifton's Dance Tour.
Proving himself to be the doting boyfriend, Anthony had come to support his dancer girlfriend whilst she took part in the tour.
The soap star and his Strictly girlfriend were introduced in December by actress Gemma Atkinson, 33, who is dating pro dancer Gorka Marquez, 27, after she worked with Anthony on Emmerdale.
The attractive duo briefly split in February due to conflicting schedules but soon reconciled.
And it's now been rumoured that they could be the first couple to be paired up on Strictly Come Dancing's 14-year history.
Anthony is said to be in line to foxtrot his way into this year’s series as a celebrity contestant.
And his pro dancer girlfriend wants producers to team them up on the dancefloor in the hope their chemistry could help them waltz their way to the finals.
A TV source said: “Bosses think their real-life chemistry would be a massive draw for viewers and would really rev up the competition.
“Dianne thinks the winning gimmick will guarantee her a place in the professional line-up as she’s still waiting to hear whether not she’s made the cut.
“The only catch is that Anthony still needs to confirm Emmerdale bosses will give him time off set to immerse himself in dance rehearsals.
“He’s hoping that he can convince them it would be great coverage and promotion for the soap as well.”
Dianne only joined the show last year after having starred on the American version Dancing With The Stars.
She and her partner Rev Richard Coles were given the boot just three weeks into the series.
Dancing with boyfriend Anthony could be the key to her cementing her spot on the staple show and getting her hands on the coveted glitterball trophy.
But the loved-up couple would of course want to avoid the dreaded Strictly curse which has seen the demise of many couples.
