CRESSIDA Bonas has revealed her biggest fear about attending ex PRINCE HARRY’s wedding – choosing a suitable hat.
The actress, 29, who dated Harry for two years, has spoken for the first time about her presence at the do, admitting watching her former flame marry Meghan Markle, 36, was the least of her worries.
Writing for The Spectator in an article to be released this week, Cressida said: “Last weekend I attended the royal wedding.
“The invitation clearly stated that guests must wear hats. Yikes. I opted for a minimal feathered number and can only hope I got it right.
“Why do I find hats so tricky? Tricky to wear, tricky to look at, and extremely tricky for the poor soul sitting in the pew behind.
“Most of the time I avoid headgear. This can prompt disapproving looks from the older generations.
Two of Prince Harry’s most notable ex-girlfriends, Cressida and Chelsy Davy, attended his marriage ceremony on Saturday.
Cressida, who dated Harry following his split from Chelsy, chose an unsubtle multi-coloured, textured dress from British designer Eponine London.
She added: “My sister Pandora is the only person I know who can pull off wearing a hat.

“I ask my mother why this is. She tells me, ‘Your sister wears the hat, the hat doesn’t wear your sister.’
“I get the train home to Norfolk in a new summer dress. My father picks me up from the station. I ask him if he likes my dress. He says it looks like something knitted by the Women’s Institute. Typical.”
Cressida famously struggled with the amount of public scrutiny that went along with dating Harry, and the pair eventually split in early 2014 after two years together.
