Who is Ned Porteous?
Ned Porteous, 23, was born July 7, 1994 and is a British actor.
He is best known for playing Mark Fowler in EastEnders and the role of Joe Tate in Emmerdale.
He made his acting debut on Holby City as Rufus Lucas in 2015.
After a 13 episode stint on EastEnders, he headed to The Dales and joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2017.
It is unknown if he is in a relationship.
Who does Ned Porteous play in Emmerdale?
Joseph Tate was formerly known to Emmerdale fans as Tom Waterhouse, a multi-millionaire businessman.
Tom's fortune comes from an inheritance which passed to him after both his parents died when he was young.
He first met Debbie Dingle when the pair discussed Tom leasing a Bentley.
And after being dumped by Debbie, Joseph did everything he could to win her back.
But once he had achieved his goal and bedded her - he cruelly sent bailiffs off to retake the house he had bought her, leaving her without a home.
Joseph had not been seen in the village since 2005 when he left to be cared for by his aunt Zoe and cousin Jean.
