Gabby Allen accuses ex Marcel Somerville of lying about desperately trying to call her and win her back
GABBY Allen has accused her ex Marcel Somerville of lying about trying to win her back after he cheated on her.
The Love Island star took to Twitter to blast her ex's recent claims that she hadn't been answering his calls to her.
Acid-tongued Gabby tweeted saying: "Hmmm...My phone must be broken because I haven't received "any phone calls.""
This comes after Marcel had said "I've tried calling Gabby but she won't answer."
He added: "I've tried to win her back, but she's going to be feeling embarrassed, it's embarrassed me. It was a silly thing, but it's ruined what we had."
Gabby ended her nine month relationship with the Blazin' Squad star after discovering he'd cheated on her on a holiday in Mexico.
The star issued a statement thanking her fans for their support saying: "Thank you to everyone for your kind messages, love and support.
"It's been a tough couple of days, I think I might still be in a bit of shock!"
Marcel has been vocal about his regret over his actions: "It's my own fault so I can't really do anything about it.
"I made a mistake and I regret it, but everyone makes mistakes."
But Gabby appears to be having none of it - seemingly poking fun at her ex and accusing him of lying about his attempts to contact her.
Her acerbic tweet has been liked 895 times so far and re-tweeted 12 times.
And supportive fans were quick to respond. One wrote: "I think your amazing and people who was in your life was fame hungry and trying the sympathy vote #boreoff."
Whilst another attempted to comfort her by reassuring her: "Give me your number and I'll call you when ever you want."
Meanwhile, the fitness enthusiast shared a very racy snap with her followers of her in a thonged bikini.
Gabby uploaded a 'belfie' of her peering seductively over her shoulder at the camera in a nude two-piece.
The saucy picture is likely to rub salt into the wound for Marcel who missed out on an exciting, new TV gig as a result of the cheating scandal.
Marcel's reputation as a "love guru" on Love Island almost landed him a role on hit show Celebs Go Dating.
But it's been revealed that he has been sacked since his cheating ways came to light.
A source told the Sun Online: "The team at Celebs Go Dating thought Marcel would be a perfect fit for the show and would be the ideal person to give the celebs some advice.
"He was great on Love Island and everyone loved his Dr. Marcel moments.
