CORONATION Street's Kym Marsh has revealed she was left battered and bruised after filming Michelle Connor's violent confrontation with serial killer Pat Phelan.
The actress said she was left in pain after the brutal shoot.
The murderer returns to the Cobbles next week and fans will be left on the edge of their seats as he returns to wreak havoc.
Phelan will have a showdown with Michelle which ends in a nasty fight.
Kym, 41, who plays Michelle, has now revealed she was left bruised for real after filming the physical scenes with Connor McIntyre, who plays Phelan.
She told The Sun Online: "In the bistro I’m being thrown around by Connor who’s a strong man and I had to throw myself on the floor.
"I was bruised. You do it but your body doesn’t realise it’s not really happening.
"But it was great as I’ve never played anything like this before.
"It was another first for me (being shot) and it’s good to get a bit of a challenge."
