GOOD Morning Britain viewers were left shocked when Richard Madeley angrily stopped an "awkward" interview with a politician.
Fans couldn't help but laugh when the TV star, 62, hilariously called out "interview terminated" after Gavin Williamson, the Defence Secretary, refused to answer his question live on air.
After discussing elephant conservation with the MP via video link from West Midlands Safari Park, Richard changed the subject completely to Russia.
The host, who was standing in for Piers Morgan, asked: "You told Russia to shut up and go away. Do you regret that? Do you think that was a bit too informal?"
Gavin replies: "What I'd like to pay tribute to initially is the health service personnel..."
Richard speaks over him: "Sorry can you answer the question?! No, no, no Mr Williamson. I asked you a straight question."
After several more attempts from Richard to get an impressively composed Gavin to answer the question, the presenter finally lost his patience.
He interrupted Gavin, who had gone off on a tangent, by calling out: "Interview terminated because you won't answer the question. Good luck with African elephant project. That is an excellent thing.
"But it would be helpful if you answered a straight question."
As the furious journalist was speaking he could be seen angrily crossing questions out on his notepad and throwing his pen on the desk, before sporting an angry expression as he took a sip from a mug.
Viewers were left in stitches by Richard's furious reaction, but praised him for standing his ground.
One wrote: "...fine...interview terminated, because you won’t answer a simple question” - defence sec’ owned by RM. hilarious start to my day."
Another commented: " well done Richard. Wish you were on more."
A third shared: "Well that was Awkward."
It comes a day after Richard joked about his “smelly little girl” Chloe getting an invite to the Royal Wedding during yesterday's episode of Good Morning Britain.
He made the comments when asked about how she managed to get an invite and admitted she was using Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day as inspiration for her upcoming nuptials.

Chloe, 30, raised eyebrows when she arrived at St George’s chapel in Windsor with her rugby player fiancé James Haskell.
Richard appeared keen to clarify the invite and said she was invited as James’ plus one.
The 62-year-old explained: “My smelly little girl Chloe was there with her fiancé James.
“Basically the reason Chloe went along is because she’s James’ fiancée.
“And James is good friends with Harry because of the rugby thing. Harry is a huge rugby fan! James has known Harry for about ten years.”
