Steph Davis ‘given strict set of rules about staying sober’ by Hollyoaks bosses

Producers aren't prepared to put up with any of Steph's nonsense when she returns to the Channel 4 soap

STEPH Davis has been told to stay sober - or lose her job - as she prepares to return to Hollyoaks, according to a new report.

Bosses at the Channel 4 soap have warned the 25-year-old actress - who had her contract terminated in July 2015 after she arrived on set “unfit for work because of alcohol consumption” - to stay off the booze if she wants keep her role on the show.

magazine: "There'll be no nonsense this time around.

"Lateness is an absolute no-no. Call-time must be honoured - even if it's at 5am.

"She must turn up on time, not drunk, and ready for hair and make-up. There will be no wardrobe wobbles."

As well as her alcohol consumption, Steph has also been told to watch her language when she's on the set.

The source added: "Any foul-mouthing will not be tolerated.

"Stephanie must remain professional at all times, leaving drama at home.

"There should be no diva requests in hair and make-up, her phone must be left in the dressing room, no guests on set unless otherwise cleared, and no calling in sick at the last minute!"

The claims come after The Sun Online revealed the cast of Hollyoaks are furious that Stephanie's coming back.

They're said to be are seething that the 25-year-old - who they describe as “chaotic and difficult”- has been handed a second chance.

A source said: “There's a couple of the cast who she didn't get on with that are p****d off that she is coming back.

"She caused chaos while she was here and the atmosphere of the set has been calmer since she went”.

“There was always a drama when she was around and everything was constantly being moved as she was either late or disrupting the production schedule”.

“When she left everyone breathed a sigh of relief”.

However a rep for Steph told The Sun Online: "Stephanie has worked hard to get back to a good place and she doesn't know anything about any of the cast members having these feelings but she will prove them all wrong."
