Celebrity Big Brother targets Katie Price’s estranged husband Kieran Hayler to spill the beans on their relationship
THE last series of Celebrity Big Brother saw producers opt for an all-female cast to mark a centenary of women’s suffrage.
But this summer history has been trumped by hearsay, as I can reveal the new CBB theme is SCANDAL.
Channel 5 bosses are targeting stars who have been involved in any sort of recent controversy — from public spats and outbursts to splits with their other halves and telly gaffes.
I’ve heard that head honchos of the reality show are desperate to sign Katie Price's estranged hubby Kieran Hayler.
The former stripper would certainly have plenty to talk about inside the house. Earlier this month he officially split from wife of five years Katie, with whom he has two children.
Their marriage had been tainted by his straying ways.
Kieran was caught cheating with their children’s nanny Nikki Brown last year, and with Katie’s long-time friend and bridesmaid Jane Pountney in 2014.
A source said: “Celebrity Big Brother execs plan on having a lot of fun when they select their housemates for this season’s show. The more scandalous, the better.
“They want their stars to be as outspoken as possible, with relevant controversy attached to their name. They really want to create a buzz. Kieran would be an amazing signing and now he has nothing to lose.”
Katie — whose second husband, cross-dressing cage fighter Alex Reid, won CBB in 2010 — has already moved on from Kieran with a series of younger men.
The businesswoman, left, who turned 40 earlier this month, had a brief fling with Irish footballer Shane Duffy and is now seeing personal trainer Kris Boyson.
I reckon Kieran should book into CBB just for some peace and quiet.

Charity's son is a lockalike
EMMERDALE’s Charity sits with the newest addition to the Dingle clan – her long-lost son Ryan.
And it looks like flowing locks run in the family.
Ryan will arrive on screens next week played by James Moore. Like his character, the actor has ataxic cerebral palsy, which limits mobility.
Ryan, seen with Emma Atkins who plays Charity, said: “I was over the moon to hear I’d got the part.”
It comes two years after the ITV soap was forced to apologise for making a joke about cerebral palsy.
Jamie is back on the box
FIFTY Shades star Jamie Dornan is making his first return to British TV since leaving to crack Hollywood.
The hunky actor, who played sex-mad tycoon Christian Grey in three of the racy movies, will appear in BBC2 drama Death and Nightingales.
It will be his first time back on the box since he starred on BBC2 in the last series of serial killer thriller The Fall opposite Gillian Anderson in 2016.
Since then, his blossoming movie career has also seen him make war film Anthropoid with Cillian Murphy and the forthcoming Robin Hood epic with Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx.
But Death and Nightingales won’t be too much of a departure from his previous film roles as a dashing leading man.
The thriller, which is set in 19th-century Ireland and also stars Welsh actor Matthew Rhys, sees him play charmer Liam Ward.
Typecasting it may be, but it’s a nice problem to have.
BGT Marc - teary is again
AFTER moving the Britain’s Got Talent audience with his heartbreaking life story in the auditions, illusionist Marc Spelmann insists his semi-final piece on Wednesday night will pack the same punch.
He left host Ant McPartlin and judge Alesha Dixon tearful when he told how his wife Tessa was diagnosed with breast cancer while pregnant after years of IVF treatment. Then he revealed the happy ending – their two-year-old daughter.
But he insists he is not a one-trick-pony. He said: “My semi-final piece was inspired by six words Tessa said to me during her cancer treatment.
“I asked her a poignant question and the phrase she gave in response changed how I live my life now.
“If it wasn’t for her saying that, I might not have gone for Britain’s Got Talent.”
North Londoner Marc added: “If I get to the final, my act will be the most poignant piece. I really hope I get through, just so viewers can see the final part of the story.”
Hopefully fans will feel the same way.
