Spencer Matthews, 28, and Vogue Williams, 32, plan to wed in a secret ceremony next week at Loch Ness
SPENCER Matthews and Vogue Williams are likely to wed in secret next week.
The ex-Made In Chelsea star and Irish model want to tie the knot before the birth of their first child, due in August.
The venue is believed to be the 10,000-acre Glen Affric Estate in the Scottish Highlands — 15 miles from Loch Ness — which is owned by the Matthews family.
The eight-bedroom property has its own loch for fishing and sailing and can only be hired out as a whole, from £900 per person per night.
A source said: “It is understood the wedding will be private and low-key. They are keen to make their union official before becoming parents.
“Spencer and Vogue have only told people in their close circle, but are likely to have more of an extravagant and star-studded party after the baby is born.
“Spencer’s mum Jane has flown into the UK for the occasion. She is in London and will travel to Scotland imminently.”
It is also understood Spencer’s father David, who is on bail for historical rape allegations in France, which he denies, will be there.
Pippa Middleton, who is married to Spencer’s brother James and expecting their first child, could be on the guest list too.
It would be her second wedding in a matter of weeks, after making a stand-out appearance at the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last month.
Spencer was best man at Pippa and James’s wedding last year. The couple were said to have stayed at Glen Affric as part of their honeymoon after returning from Australia.
Other high-profile visitors have included David Beckham and American comedian Seth Meyers. Vogue, 32, and Spencer, 28, met while filming Channel 4 celebrity ski competition The Jump in 2017. They announced their engagement in February.
Spencer popped the question with a ring thought to be worth £150,000. A month later the couple revealed Vogue was expecting.
She has told how Spencer changed her mind about getting married again, following the breakdown of her three-year union to former Westlife singer Brian McFadden in 2015.
In an interview with The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine last month, she said: “He did so very quickly, because we just get on so well.” She hinted the couple would celebrate their nuptials with two bashes, saying: “You can have one wedding that’s like a blow-dry and another that’s like boho hair.”
In April 2017 we published pictures of Spencer with a mystery woman while Vogue was in Ireland.
But the reality TV star has since said: “I’ve known Vogue was The One for a while now and we’re very happily engaged.”
