DENISE Welch announced today that she's returning to the Loose Women panel for the first time in five years.
She'll be back on the show tomorrow for a very special episode tomorrow, the show announced today.
Throwing to the ITN news studio, Ruth stunned fans by announcing "breaking showbiz news" - causing viewers to panic that someone had died.
But it was all a joke as part of the "huge" announcement that Denise is returning to the show.
"We interrupt the programme with some breaking news – tomorrow’s episode will feature the return of a Loose legend as Denise Welch makes her explosive return to the panel," newsreader Charlene White said.
"Sources say she’ll be joining the panel for some fun and feisty conversation when she returns to the nation’s most famous desk."
"I’m excited," said the former Coronation Street actress by video link.
"It’s been five years since I sat on that famous panel – I can’t wait to let the girls know what I’m up to now."
She also said that she was looking forward seeing what they'd all been up to since she last saw them.
Ruth added that the panel "can't wait to have her back" and were looking forward to it.
It's a huge shock - as in September last year, Denise slammed the panel for "airbrushing" her out of the show's 18th birthday celebrations.
Denise, who appeared on the show between 2005 and 2013, tweeted at the show, saying: "It was time for me to leave 4 years ago but sad to have been airbrushed when you share your life for 10 years."
"Thank you all for asking. I'm in Greece having a wonderful time. But no, I wasn't asked to be part of @loosewomen celebrations."
But the panel looked over the moon to welcome her back - and so were fans.
"It will be monumental," one fan said, while another called for the return of Carole McGiffin.
But others were upset that ITV had called it 'breaking news' as they thought someone had died.
