Beyonce and Jay Z give a rare glimpse of their twins as they launch world tour
BEYONCE and Jay-Z have revealed their twins Rumi and Sir Carter for the first time during the opening night of their world tour.
The superstar couple launched their On The Run 2 stadium tour in Cardiff this evening, with on-screen visuals showing the pair holding the twins.
Candid pictures of the family flashed up on giant screens at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium as the couple launched the first of their 48-night tour.
Concert-goers rushed to social media to update the Beyhive on the sold-out music event of the year.
As one screen beamed with the slogan “love is universal,” pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z cradling the twins could be seen across the stadium.
The twins reclined in Beyonce’s toned arms while they climed up on Jay’s torso.
Other clips from audience members surfaced online, showing Beyonce twerk her famous derierre while stood in front of speakers.
Fans claimed the timing of the pictures was an attempt to distract from a long-awaited follow-up to Beyonce’s Lemonade album.
One put: “Beyonce got pics of the twins on the internet because she’s trying to distract us from the fact that there’s still not a new album out.”
Beyonce and Jay-Z welcomed the twins last June and the superstar couple have gone to extreme efforts to maintain their privacy up until this point.
Their latest global jaunt is the sequel to their 2014 tour, On The Run, and will see them perform a number of their collaborations and solo hits.
The show arrives at the London Stadium next Friday for two nights.
