Love Island’s Doctor Alex ‘tried to use me for sex then ghosted me’ reveals ex he met on Tinder
LOVE Island's Dr Alex George tried to use a girl "for sex" before "ghosting" her when she refused to sleep with him after a date.
The girl called Emma, who the 27-year-old contestant matched with on Tinder in September 2016, slammed his "gentlemanly" persona and claims he is only on the show "for the money" to boost his NHS salary.
The 32-year-old legal professional from London, who wishes to remain out of the spotlight, swiped right on Alex - who was seen scoring a date with hot lawyer Rosie Williams in last night's third episode - when he was a trainee doctor in London.
That was the last time she ever heard from him. She explained: "He ghosted me, and I soon realised he had had one thing on his mind the whole time.
"He says that he's a really nice guy, but he's not. He just wants to have a bit of fun.
"While he may say he's a gentleman, he just basically wants to shag. When he doesn't get it, he will just move on to the next girl.
"He'll charm you, and when he doesn't get what he wants he will just palm you off."
Emma says that seeing that Alex had described himself as "a gentleman" in his Love Island profile angered her most, and believes fans who felt sorry for him after Hayley Hughes refused to kiss him would be horrified by his "true colours".
She said: "He totally puts that persona on.
"Surely a gentleman would be like, 'Oh don't worry if you don't want to have sex just yet', and then carry on seeing that person. But he was like, 'Nah'.
"He's an a**hole and I had a lucky escape!"
When Emma found out he was going on the show she was in complete shock, and is convinced he's in it for the money - not love.
She said: "He always went on about being a doctor and being professional, and I thought there's no way he would do anything like that.
"I think he wants his five minutes of fame so he can cash in as he made no secret when we were dating of the fact the NHS didn't pay well at his junior level."
