What was Leslie Grantham's cause of death?

Leslie Grantham died on June 15, 2018, aged 71.

The actor is believed to have had terminal cancer, but his spokespeople have refused to confirm this.

A statement from his representative said: "We formally announce the loss of Leslie Grantham, who passed away at 10.20am on the morning of Friday 15th June 2018.

"His ex-wife and sons have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time, and for there to be no approaches to them for information or comment.

"There will be a private funeral which will be attended by close family and friends only."

It was feared that the 71-year-old was fighting for his life after we revealed he was being closely monitored by doctors.

The actor recently returned to the UK after spending some years in Bulgaria.

What did Leslie Grantham's friends say about his health?

Leslie Grantham's friends were understandably very worried about his health.

Before he died a close friend said: “Leslie is being looked after.

"Those who are close to him are hugely worried and are praying for his well-being.”

The actor who played Dirty Den starred in EastEnders from 1985 to 1989 and later returned to the role in 2003.
