CHRIS Martin and Dakota Johnson weren't afraid to pack on the PDA as they stepped out together for a romantic date in LA on Tuesday.

The couple headed to Gjelina in Venice Beach for lunch, and Dakota was even spotted seeming to kiss Chris' neck inside the restaurant.

Onlookers said the couple were holding hands, kissing and laughing together.

The couple kept their outfits casual for the date.

Fifty Shades star Dakota, 28, wore a green jumper teamed with ripped blue jeans, black trainers and a pair of sunglasses.

While Coldplay's Chris Martin, 40, wore a grey jumper and trousers with blue trainers and a black baseball cap.

The couple have been trying to keep their relationship out of the limelight, but were spotted smooching in the restaurant.

The couple were first linked back in October 2017.

But they made their relationship public when they went on a trip to Paris together in December to see Nick Cave in concert.

The couple were snapped climbing out of a people carrier at Charles De Gaulle airport in the French capital, surrounded by a security detail.

A source said at the time: "They’ve got to know each other really well and are very comfortable from one another.

"Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It’s more than just a fling.”

Before Chris, Dakota was dating Matthew Hitt on and off for around two years.
