Love Island’s Dr Alex branded a ‘cocky player and a show off’ by former flame
It is claimed he sent pictures of his car and possessions to the girl and often mentioned how much money he made
LOVE Island’s Alex George has been labelled “a bit of a player” after he allegedly sent a girl he met online pictures of his car and boasted about how much earned as a doctor.
The reality star, 27, who is competing on the current series of the show, never met the 23-year-old woman in person but is said to have tried to woo her by bragging about his life and bank balance.
She told the Daily Star: “I was really into it. He seemed super sweet because he was really into his job and he was working at Lewisham hospital in A&E, he was the person that was looking after pregnant women if they came into A&E, so I was really into that.
“He got a little bit cocky, he knew he had money, even though he wasn’t quite high up or anything… He was always sending me pictures of things that he thought would impress me, like his car and nights out with his friends.”
The pair apparently got talking on dating app Bumble last year and she said, at first, she was impressed by his work and thought he was “really sweet”.
At the time, she claims medical pro Alex was part way through a year-long programme of training as an A&E doctor and she thought that his work made him seem caring.

Alex has also been accused of trying to use a girl "for sex" before "ghosting" her when she refused to sleep with him after a date.
Emma, who he met on Tinder in September 2016, slammed his "gentlemanly" persona and claims he is only on the show "for the money".

It is claimed there is more to Alex than meets the eye.
However, Alex’s former fellow Islander Kady McDermott thinks differently and wants to make a show comeback in a bid to couple up with him, even claiming he could be “the one”.
She told the MailOnline: “I’m SO single and I hate it, I really want a boyfriend.
“I want to go back to Love Island. I would 100% go back in and I want Alex because he’s really nice.
"I’m so sick of mean boys and I want a nice boy. I feel like I’m the one for Alex, I want a nice boy and he wants a nice girl. I’m so over all the typical Adams in the world.”
