Anni-Frid Synni Lyngstad was born in Bjørkåsen in northern Norway, to a Norwegian mother and a German father on 15th November 1945.
She relocated to Sweden with her mother and grandmother when she was two.
The singer will celebrate her 73rd birthday in November 2018.

Anni-Frid has taken a hiatus from music since 2005 preferring to now be involved in charity work.
In 1992 she married Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss, Count of Plauen.

Haase returned to Germany when his unit was evacuated.
Anni-Frid never knew her father growing up and was re-located to Sweden when she was just two.
The star met her father three decades later in a reunion organised by her then husband and bandmate Benny Andersson.
