The Spice Girls reunion tour is called off AGAIN after Victoria Beckham refuses to tour
The proposed £150million world tour was due to kick off on September 27
THE Spice Girls reunion is off – and yet again it is Victoria Beckham who is at the centre of the huge rift.
A proposed £150million world tour has been scrapped following a string of increasingly heated exchanges between Posh and Melanie C, Mel B, Geri Horner and Emma Bunton.
The lucrative gigs, which would have netted the girls £30million each, were due to kick off on September 27 after global entertainment company Live Nation put together one of the biggest tour deals of the year.
But before we could dust off our leopard print onesies for the concerts, the girls have fallen out with original manager Simon Fuller, who was masterminding the comeback.
Last night an insider told us: “The Spice Girls are in disarray. While Victoria has always insisted she’d never tour, the others believed Simon would get her on board.
“They had a £150million proposal in the offing — with a headline performance at Wembley — and even Mel C, who had previously been reluctant, was signed up.
“With things still up in the air, there were a few heated debates between the girls and Victoria.
“Simon was brought in to convince her to take the offer but now he’s failed they feel he’s used them to put his name back on the map.”
The bandmates confronted Victoria last week asking her to choose between them or Fuller — but she backed the man who turned Brand Beckham into a multi-million pound empire.
Another factor in this latest rift is about money — with Mel B and Mel C said to be eager to cash in.
Indeed, latest accounts filed by Sporty show her company Red Girl Records is £808,568 in debt and her Red Girl Touring Ltd had losses of £77,956 last year.
Despite enjoying the most solo success, she is said to have self-funded her latest tour.
And last summer it emerged Scary Spice had blown much of her £38million fortune during her stormy marriage to ex Stephen Belafonte, and had just £961 in her company bank account.
Multi-millionaire Victoria’s fashion empire made an £8.4million loss last year — despite husband David Beckham's business stepping in to subsidise it.
Even the Spice Girls’ joint company, Spice Girls Ltd, posted relatively modest accounts, making £100,266 last year — less than £21,000 each.
But it seems no amount of money will convince Victoria to grace us with her sultry, soothing tones once more.
Well, if money won’t convince her to perform, then shameless ego-boosting flattery is worth a go.
Mel's mystery man
Despite her disappointment with all things Spice Girls, Mel B has revealed her love life is once again looking up.
She disclosed she has a mystery new man who gives her “butterflies” and makes her “happy”.
Following her very messy divorce from husband of ten years, Stephen Belafonte, it’s great to know the star is loved up again.
Scary Spice, who is currently on the judging panel of America’s Got Talent – and in the frame for the UK’s The X Factor – announced her news on Instagram.
She posted: “The way he makes me laugh and smile gives me butterflies beyond belief.
“Everything about him makes me more than happy and grateful...”
She ended the post with the hashtags: “#younowhoyouare #humble #lovehim #truelove #finally.”
Another snap, showing her cuddling one of her daughters, said: “The look of love #mummysinlove.”
Lottie's got a big TV date
Lottie Moss is considering signing up for her first TV appearance in a bid to boost her love life.
The model and younger half-sister of fashionista Kate, is in the mix to appear on a new series of E4’s Celebs Go Dating.
A source said: “This is a huge move for Lottie, as it would be her first foray into the world of TV.
“She’s known for modelling and has a big fan base.
"But, like Kate, she has tried to keep an air of mystery about her.
"No-one really knows what she sounds like and she has rarely been interviewed.”
The 20-year-old has already shunned offers from Made In Chelsea and Love Island because she didn’t “want to document everything on TV”.
It would be quite the backtrack from Lottie – who certainly isn’t averse to the finer things in life, or wearing a bikini – so she must really want to find a guy.
Jess: I came back from a dark place
Becoming the most successful British female singer ever has come at a price for Jess Glynne.
She admits she was left feeling “lost” after the phenomenal success of her 2015 debut album, I Cry When I Laugh.
Jess beat her own chart record on Friday with new single I’ll Be There – becoming the first British female solo artist to score seven UK No1 singles.
But in an exclusive chat, the Londoner said: “There was a point when it was so crazy and I was like, ‘Woah!’ You lose yourself a little bit.
"Thankfully, I’ve got amazing people around me.
“It’s so easy to get caught up in the hype.
“You have to disconnect yourself from the pressure and immerse yourself in the music.
"I feel 2017 was my year where I took a moment for myself.
"I did a few shows then spent time with family, friends and went away a bit. I tried to live a normal life.”
In 2015, Jess also faced an urgent operation to save her voice after overworking it.
Pal Sam Smith introduced her to the US surgeon who operated on him and Adele.
Now back with new music, Jess has cut her workload to prevent history repeating itself.
She said: “I’m strict now, as I got so ill from overworking. Having to have an operation on your voice is not fun.
“I never want to go back there, so I made sure my schedule will never override my health again.
“I make time for myself and look after my body.
"It’s important to allow yourself time.
"When you’re on the road it’s easy to get carried away with everything and everyone.
Ferne feels time is right for love
Single mum Ferne McCann is ready to find love again – but accepts she now comes with “baggage”.
The former I’m A Celeb star’s revelations come 14 months after her ex Arthur Collins carried out a devastating acid attack. He was jailed for 20 years last November.
Shortly after the incident, Ferne found out she was pregnant and has since got to grips with raising daughter Sunday, now seven months, by herself.
Speaking exclusively to Biz on Sunday at the London launch of her second collection for clothing brand Miss Pap, Ferne opened up about her desires to get back into the dating game.
She said: “I’m definitely in that mindset where I really want to date again. I’m ready to meet someone.
"I love flirting and I love men – I’m very excited about my love life.
“The tricky thing is how I’m going to meet someone.
"I believe in it being organic and going out and meeting people through friends. Tinder isn’t really for me.”
But Ferne is wary the recent events will make it even harder to find a bloke.
She added: “It’s going to take someone very special to be with me because, I’m not saying that I’ve got the ultimate baggage – but it’s a whole new ball game from when I was dating before.
“For me, it’s really difficult because I can’t do anything in private and I’d like to take my own time.
"I just want to relax and enjoy it.”
The former Towie star finally feels ready to look towards the future and move on.
She said: “I lost so much confidence and sometimes I felt almost embarrassed to be pregnant.
“I felt like I had to explain why I was expecting as there was such a story behind it. I was never allowed to just be pregnant.
“Here I was in my full bloom having to justify my happiness. Sunday was always my light at the end of the tunnel.
In the Nic of prime
There must be a rotting Dorian Gray-style painting of Nicole Scherzinger in her attic.
It’s the only explanation as to why the singer can look this good less than two weeks away from her 40th birthday.
The former X Factor judge looks beautiful in this new snap of her lounging around in a sparkly skin-tight outfit.
But she admitted to being in denial about the amount of candles on her birthday cake, saying: “The number 40 feels crazy – I still feel like I’m 27.”
We’re sure her tennis ace boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov will confirm she most definitely has the feel of a woman in her twenties.
