Casey Batchelor reveals she vomited on herself during traumatic childbirth which left her bed-bound and ‘depressed’

CASEY Batchelor revealed she was in "unbearable" pain during childbirth and the epidural left her bed-bound with severe headaches and "depression".
The model, 33, gave birth to her daughter Florence on May 24, but her labour wasn't plain-sailing.
Speaking to , she said: "I got up to 9.5cm dilated just on gas and air, but the pain became unbearable.
"My body was in so much shock that I was vomiting over myself. Dane was so worried. I said: 'I literally can’t do this any more. Get me the epidural!’
"Right now I don’t know if I could do that pain again. She was worth it, though."
The pain of labour didn't stop after Florence was delivered. An epidural tear left her with crippling side effects so severe she couldn't stand up.
She explained: "The doctors came in after the birth and said I had spinal fluid leakage from the epidural, so I might get some bad headaches, and then they discharged me.
"The next day I couldn’t get out of bed. I was breastfeeding, so Dane would bring her into me and I would give her what I could laying down on my side, because I couldn’t even sit up to hold her, and then she’d be taken back out.
"People were coming round and holding her when I couldn’t even hold my own baby. I was getting really depressed and I was in agony.’
Casey has been in a relationship with Florence's dad, Dane Goodman, for two years and she insists it's just a matter of time before they tie the knot.
"I’m waiting for the ring," she said. "We’re going to get married, it’s just when.
"It’s a real cliché to say, but he’s my best friend, soulmate and partner. I’ve never had that with anyone before. We get on so well. We’ve had one argument the whole time we’ve been together and that was about his golf.

"I didn’t think any of this would happen for me. I thought all men were just idiots, but he’s amazing."
Despite going through a difficult time, Casey is completely besotted with her little girl.
"You just have this uncontrollable love for a little human. Small, menial things don’t really matter any more, because you’ve got a human to look after."
