Who is Storm Huntley?

Storm Huntley is a TV presenter from Bishopbriggs in Glasgow.

In 2008 she graduated from the University of Glasgow with a degree in politics and economics.

While at university she was involved in the student radio station Subcity as well as hospital radio.

She then developed a local community radio company OnFM in London and undertook a post-grad diploma in broadcast journalism at the London College Of Printing.

After doing a short Open University Course in meteorology she became a weather on STV Glasgow.

She later landed the presenting role on CBeebies Down On The Farm with co-host and former pop star JB Gill.

Storm has an estimated salary of around £61,000 a year.

Her income source is believed to mostly come from being a successful TV presenter.

What TV shows has Storm Huntley been on?

Storm joined The Wright Stuff as a booth girl in May 2015.

She landed the role after taking part in a screen test.

Storm then continued the job when Jeremy Vine took over.

She handled the phone-ins and acted as a co-host with the main presenter.

Following Jeremy Vine's early departure on the show at 11.15 am (to host his BBC Radio 2 programme), Storm has a 12.15 spot in which she continues the viewer interaction on the topics of the day.

Is Storm Huntley married and does she have children?

Storm tied the knot with her long-term partner Kerr Okan, who is the lead singer of The LaFontaines, in September 2021.

In January 2022, she revealed that she was pregnant.

The pair welcomed their first baby into the world on Monday, July 11, 2022, as the star announced the exciting news on her social media page.

She shared a sweet photo of herself holding her baby boy with the caption: "So this is the little person who will forever hold my heart in his hands…

"Otis Abi Okan. Born 9.17am. 7.7 pounds."

Storm took just 12 weeks of maternity leave while Dawn Neesom covered for her on Vine's show, and she's already thinking about a second child.

She told the Daily Mail in February 2023: "I was an only child and I don't want Otis to be an only child.

 

"I think it's really important to have a sibling.

"So we are discussing at the moment when we will start trying for the next one."
