NICOLA McLean defended her decision to do the school run in her PJs in a heated debate on This Morning.
The yummy mummy insisted the priority is for her kids to look smart and that her own appearance should not matter.
Mum-of-two Nicola argued that when it comes to getting some more beauty sleep or getting that "full glam on", she would always take "that half an hour" extra in bed.
Hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby posed the debate to the 37-year-old and her opposition - etiquette coach William Hanson.
The glamour model had a less-than-glamorous approach to the school run.
She talked through her morning routine, which involves 'shoving on a onesie' or teaming pyjama bottoms with her husband's hoodie.
The Celeb Big Brother star also said she doesn't bother with make up and when it comes to her usually immaculate locks opts for comfort and convenience by scraping her hair into a bun on her head.
She insisted : "I don't see the problem."
Nicola defended her laid-back attitude to her appearance, saying: "I really, really find it a struggle people judging how I go on the school run. "
Adding: "My kids are in their full uniform, always clean, presentable, everything they need. Why's anyone looking at me?."
But she did reassure Holly that she always cleans her teeth before leaving the house.
And fans were quick to lap up her laissez-faire, no-nonsense attitude.
Taking to Twitter viewers commended Nicola saying she was : "100 per cent right! It's only the bl**dy school run!
I've got two kids to get organise in the morning. I don't have time to get all dolled up!"
Another wrote: "Hats off to @NicolaMcLean for rejecting this nonsense!"
Others agreed with her practical choice: " I'd choose extra sleep over getting myself all glammed up to do a quick trip out."
Adding " Good for you hun."
But some did not agree with her lack of effort. One wrote "@NicolaMcLean doesn't shower before leaving her house in the morning!Gross!!!"
And another user agreed that although the children's appearance should be the priority, parents should also make more time to make themselves presentable
They said: "100% kids needs sorting first... However I would never ever do the school run without makeup on and dressed! Just get your butt out of bed earlier."
Later on Nicola insisted that she doesn't care how she looks.
She said: "I do not care what you think I look like, I couldn't care less" and she said she's "trying to teach my children... not to care what people look like".
Nicola added if she had her boobs out and hair done she'd "be slagged off for that".
Etiquette connoisseur William argued that not taking pride in looking presentable sets a bad example for kids by showing "a lack of personal standards".
But the footballer's wife insisted: "I do not care what you think I look like, I couldn't care less."
