Russell uploaded a selfie from a hotel gym and fans soon begged for an update on his romantic life.

The actor replied: "No darling," prompting an outpouring of comments from devoted followers. The original curious fan responded: "So sorry. I'm wishing you the best. Love you."

"For so long, as a young actor, I had this anxiety about making sure I could get straight roles, and now I know that’s not necessary.
