TV insiders told The Sun Online casting execs were mulling over some of the options on the table and could be packing some of them off to Majorca pretty soon
LOVE Island could be getting some explosive bombshells in the next few weeks, as bosses are lining up some of the cast’s exes to appear.
Insiders tell The Sun Online that approaches have been made to some of the islander’s former lovers who could be heading to Majorca very soon.
After seeing the success of the bombshell additions to the villa this year, bosses are keen to keep surprising fans.
And let’s face it: the reactions of this year’s crop of stars would be priceless.
One TV insider explained: “Bosses know everything about the stars that are on the show and they’re open about their relationship history.
“There have been messy break-ups and some of the exes have got axes to grind, so sometimes they get in touch with bosses.
“For the past few weeks there have been lots of discussions whose exes would make good TV and who would make the most impact. They are being lined up and talked up.”
A second source added: “Nothing has been decided but it is something that has been on the table for a while and could happen later in this series.
“It’s happened before on the show so there’s nothing to say it wouldn’t happen again.”

Since the start of this series, there have already been some explosive revelations from some of this year’s stars former flames.
The Sun exclusively revealed how Laura Anderson’s ex-boyfriend was everyone’s favourite nineties boyband star Dane Bowers.
Dumped Kendall Rae-Knight’s ex fiancé mocked her while she was in the show after she said he preferred going out with his mates than spending time with her.

His girlfriend Nena claimed she’d been with him for seven years and thought he was heading to Russia to watch the World Cup.
While Ex On The Beach star Kayleigh Morris claimed she was also seeing Josh and said they’d been together just two weeks before he appeared on the show.
