Casey Batchelor reveals she hasn’t had sex three weeks after becoming a mum as she’s ‘still stitched up down there’
CASEY Batchelor has revealed that sex is still strictly off the cards following the recent birth of her daughter Florence.
Casey, 33, welcomed her baby girl into the world last month but needed the help of forceps to deliver the tot.
As a result, Casey has revealed she is yet to get intimate with her partner Dane Goodman as she is still suffering the effects.
When asked how the arrival of Florence has affected their sex life, she told : "We've not had sex yet.
"I'm stitched up downstairs."
Casey gave birth to Florence on May 24, with her baby weighing 7lbs.
But the glamour girl and former Celebrity Big Brother star found the labour tough.
Casey told the magazine that she experienced contractions for four days and almost made it through with only gas and air for pain relief.
She said: "I went through quite a traumatic labour.
"I was cut and had forceps.
"I got to 9cm on gas and air, but then had to have an epidural."
Unfortunately for Casey, things didn't get much easier.
Following Florence's arrival, the star said she was left bedridden for days due to headaches caused by leaking spinal fluid.
When announcing her baby's arrival, Casey touched upon her ordeal and tweeted: "On the 24th of May we welcomed our most perfect beautiful little girl Florence.
"It wasn’t easy but it was totally worth it."
Meanwhile, along with speaking about her birthing experience, Casey has also been keen to show women a true picture of what her body now looks like.
Last week, the star - who admits she put on four stone during her pregnancy - posted an adorable picture of Florence sleeping on her bare tummy.
Writing alongside the Instagram snap, she said: "This is what a belly really looks like after birth...
"Yes it looks like I still have a baby in there."
Casey was praised by fans for being honest, with one writing: "Someone finally showing what a post baby tummy actually looks like!"
