Tweets that prove Love Island’s Muggy Megan is a liar after she vowed not to break up Laura and Wes before going into the villa

LOVE Island star Muggy Megan Barton-Hanson has been branded a liar by angry fans after promising not to break up Wes Nelson and Laura Anderson.

Megan, 24, made the bold statement before she arrived late into the villa, insisting she would not come between the couple's blossoming romance.

In her 'All About Megan' Love Island profile, Muggy Megan had said: "I wouldn't want to break up Laura and Wes because I can tell they really like each other."

This week, however, viewers watched the glamour girl ditch Eyal Booker before kissing Wes in a game of Snog, Marry, Pie.

She then told Wes that she fancied him, which instantly prompted him to tell Laura that he would be "speaking to Megan more often".

Furious and heartbroken, Laura ditched Wes and was then forced to watch him jump into bed with Megan - just 24 hours later.

But on Wednesday evening, she was shown in bed with Wes

The pair have since spent the night together and snogged in bed.

Fans have now hit out at Muggy Megan for going back on her word.

Taking to Twitter, one blasted: "Didn’t Megan say when she went in, ‘I wouldn’t split up Laura and Wes because they seem so into each other' ... what a little liar and dirt bag she is!!"

Another commented:  "She’s suffering from amnesia apparently."

A third even shared a shot of Muggy Megan's 'All About Megan' bio, saying: "Just wanted to remind y'all what megan's #loveisland bio said."

In response, one fan said: "Megan you big fat liar."

Another simply asked: "What is Megan such a liar?"

Muggy Megan has also been slammed for not speaking to Laura before making a play for 20-year-old Wes - especially as she previously said that cheating is "very cowardly".

The blonde star, who has a profile on an adult web cam site, added: "It's greedy as well, and wrong."

Muggy Megan also cited that "honesty and loyalty" was key for her.

Tonight, Love Island fans will see 12 new faces dropped into the ITV2 reality show.

The six new girls and six new boys are being brought in to seriously shake things up, putting the current Islanders to the test.

The girls -  Jack Fincham's ex Ellie Jones, 22, Savanna Darnell, 22, who is the daughter of American singer Kid Creole, hairdresser Grace Wardle, 25, tanning shop assistant Charlie Williams, 24, make-up artist Kazimir Crossley, 23, and eyebrow technician Darylle Sargeant, 24 - will move into the show's second secret villa, Casa Amor, with the current boys.

Meanwhile, the current girls will stay put and be introduced to car salesman Dean Overson, 25, model Jordan Adefeyisan, 23, socialite Charlie Brake, 23, fitness coach Frankie Foster, 22, semi-pro footballer Jack Fowler, 22, and structural glazier Alex Miller, 28.
