Liam Payne jets from LA to London for girlfriend Cheryl’s 35th birthday
Bet she couldn't believe it!
He was supposed to be performing in Kansas but the gig got cancelled.
So loving boyfriend Liam Payne rushed back to the UK to help Cheryl celebrate her 35th birthday.
Initially Liam, 24, had been scheduled to perform at a radio station gig in the American city but the last minute cancellation meant he could jet back to London for his lover's big day.
The couple, who have a one-year-old son, Bear, have not been seen together in public for four months.
The BRIT Awards was the last time Liam and Cheryl attended an event as a pair - back in February.
They have been together since 2016 but have recently been dogged with relationship trouble rumours.
Then Liam gave an explosive interview where he admitted he and Chez have their "struggles" and that everything is "not absolutely fine".
But he did also say that he and Cheryl manage their issues "as a family".
Meanwhile, in her first Instagram post in a month, the Fight for this Love singer thanked fans for their birthday wishes.
She shared: "Go shorty it’s my birthday. Thank you so much for all my lovely birthday wishes.”
Former bandmate Nicola Robers posted a touching tribute to her pal also.
The singer recently said of giving birth to Bear last year: “My whole body, my whole being was different.”
Earlier this week Cheryl was seen in a rare public outing at St James Palace for a charity lunch.
She was joined inside by a raft of other celebrity ambassadors for The Princes Trust - including Geri Horner, Fearne Cotton, Matt Bellamy, Colin Salmon, Omid Djalili, Sir Ben Kingsley and Jools Holland.
