Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh confirms romance with Army major Scott Ratcliff and says she’s never been happier
The Corrie star has a hunky new man after her split from boyfriend Matt Baker earlier this year
CORONATION Street's Kym Marsh says she's "never been happier" as she confirmed her relationship with hunky Army major Scott Ratcliff.
The actress spoke about her romance for the first time in a magazine column.
She wrote in OK: "It is true is that I’ve started seeing someone new in recent weeks.
"His name is Scott Ratcliff and he’s a major in the Parachute Regiment, and he lives and works away quite a lot."
Corrie star Kym, 43, was recently spotted with her new man in Manchester ahead of her birthday celebrations.
It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that Kym split from Matt Baker in April.
The couple split just two months after buying a £500k house together, after dating for two years.
A pal said: “They wanted this to work out and have spent weeks trying to work through the issues but, sadly, it just wasn’t to be.
“In the end, they both agreed it was for the best that they go their separate ways despite buying a house together so recently.”
Speaking about the split, Kym told OK! magazine: "Sadly, the reports are true.
"Now we each just want to focus on our families, our work and our friends as we move forward."
