Love Island’s Megan Barton Hanson had to leave stripping job after breaking workplace rules and dating a staff member, says old boss
LOVE Island's Muggy Megan was forced to quit her job as a stripper after she dated a member of staff, it's been claimed.
The 24-year-old's former boss Anna Grech, 59, said Megan was "stunning and polite" but had to leave the Sunset strip club in South End after she broke house rules.
Club director Anna said: "She wasn’t sacked, but we have a rule.
“No one in my staff is allowed to get involved with the girls. Doormen, security, barmen whatever.
“She went out with one of the staff and I don’t agree with that, so she left.
“I didn’t sack her, if anything I told the staff to leave as the girls come and go as they’re self employed.
"I think she felt awkward about it and left."
Anna told how some dancers were jealous of Megan as she was so popular with punters, many of whom would come specifically to see her.
Before becoming a stripper Megan worked as a PA for a law firm. She worked at the club four nights a week and was always punctual.
“She was a stunning girl," said Anna.
“She kept herself to herself and was polite to the girls, but wasn’t in a crowd or anything.
“She was a very good dancer and had a lot of people coming in here for her.
“Sometimes she does every now and then come in and say hello, but she never mentioned about it.
“I was shocked when I saw her go in.”
Anna said she would like to see Megan go on to do Big Brother after Love Island.
Last night Love Island viewers raged at Megan for seemingly giving Josh a pat on the back after dumping Georgia Steel for Kazimir Crossley.
Many viewers were left in floods of tears as Georgia, 23, got mugged over after standing by her man.
She chose to stay coupled up with Josh, 27, just moments before he walked out with another woman.
He had met newbie Kaz during his stint at Casa Amor - and chose her over his partner Georgia.
The fiesty Islander was left furious and fighting back tears, and was seen storming off after the recoupling.
Megan was among the first to go up to Josh after the drama - and she gave him a big hug as she asked whether Wes had cracked on to any girls in the other villa.
However, viewers pointed out it looked like Muggy Megan was giving Josh a pat on the back for his snakey behaviour - and joked they were speaking Harry Potter snake language parseltongue.
One wrote: "Josh, Megan and Adam def speak fluent parseltongue."
