EastEnders spoilers: Stuart Highway threatens Linda Carter leaving her terrified and Mick furious
The self-proclaimed predator hunter displays some worrying aggressive behaviour of his own that leaves his old friend livid
STUART Highway’s sworn revenge on Mick Carter steps up a gear in EastEnders next week when the self-declared paedophile hunter threatens Mick’s wife Linda, leaving the pub landlord seething with rage.
Stuart’s brother Halfway arrives at the The Vic complete with a video Stuart has made where he admits he made a mistake with Fred and reveals that he’s stopped hunting paedophiles.
He goes on to reveal the reason for doing what he did but when he learns that Mick already knew, Halfway is hurt.
But he still helps Mick – played by Danny Dyer in the BBC soap - and Stuart to make amends, leaving Linda annoyed when the men get drunk together.
She’s left shaken though when, in the barrel store, she tells Stuart that he needs to go. His threatening response terrifies her.
When Mick finds out about it, he demands an explanation but Stuart laughs it off and insists it was just a joke before making a peace offering.
Later Tina – back from visiting daughter Zsa Zsa -ends up going to the 80s night at the club with Stuart but the night takes a sinister turn and a dark secret about Stuart is revealed.
Stuart hasn’t proved a popular addition to the Square, with many fans wanting Mick Carter to end him after he exposed an innocent man as a paedophile last month.
Pub landlord Mick is racked with guilt after learning Stuart was abused in a young offenders prison after taking the rap for something he did.
But Tina will leave him with split loyalties between his family and his old friend.

In the new summer trailer he cryptically says: "Stuart’s one of my oldest pals, he was there when it happened."
But what exactly is he referring to?
Relations between Stuart and Mick's Linda reach a worrying low, when the latter threatens her, growling: "I go where I want, when I want."
