Flavia Cacace is an Italian dancer who was born in Naples on 13 March 1980, making her 38 years old.
She moved to the UK when she was four years old and attended St. Peter's Catholic School in Guildford.
Flavia started ballroom dancing when she was six years old, after her mother insisted she and her siblings take up an activity.
She began dancing with Vincent Simone in 1994 and they've been dancing together ever since.
Now, Flavia has decided to turn her back on dancing to become a professional dog groomer.
She completed a course in Professional Dog Grooming and has become a member of the UK’s Pet Industry Federation and is now looking for work.
When was she a Strictly professional dancer?
Flavia first took part in Strictly in 2005 as a guest choreographer with Vincent.
They choreographed an unscored group Argentine Tango to introduce the audience to the dance style.
The following year, Flavia appeared as a professional.
She was partnered with Jimmy Tarbuck, but they withdrew after just one show due to medical reasons.
She was subsequently partnered with Matt Di Angelo, Phil Daniels, Craig Kelly, Jimi Mistry, Russell Grant and Louis Smith, who she won the show with in 2012.
After winning with Louis, Flavia announced in 2013 that she and Vincent would not be returning so that they could focus on their other shows.
