Love Island’s Gabby Allen signs up to Celebrity Big Brother to dish the dirt on ‘love rat’ Marcel Somerville after cheating scandal
MARCEL Somerville's scorned ex Gabby Allen has signed up to Celebrity Big Brother, The Sun Online can reveal.
The Love Island star was left stunned when it emerged boyfriend Marcel slept with another woman behind her back and she's now ready to tell all about their bitter split on the hit Channel 5 show.
Gabby, who starred on Love Island in 2017, has kept tight lipped about going into the house but insiders say she's looking forward to going in.
A source told The Sun Online: "Gabby was devastated when she found out Marcel had cheated on her.
"She really thought he was the one and has been left heartbroken by what he did.
"Doing something like Celebrity Big Brother was never on her radar, but after their break up she wanted to do something challenging to help push her out of her comfort zone.
"Enough time has passed now and she won't be afraid to tell all about their failed relationship and the effect it had on her."
After news of Marcel's infidelity came to light, the Blazin' Squad singer hit back by accusing Gabby of cheating on him with former Towie star Dan Osborne.
Gabby furiously denied bedding Jacqueline Jossa's husband on a work trip in Marbella after they were pictured looking cosy on a yacht.
Since then she's thrown herself back into her work and has enjoyed holidays with Steph Davies and hen do celebrations with Olivia Buckland.
But the whole truth will be exposed in the Celebrity Big Brother house when Gabby enters this August.
Our source added: "Being cut off from the outside world with no phone or social media will be like an intense form of therapy for Gabby.
"She'll have plenty of time to think and won't hold back when it comes to revealing
"She thinks it'll help her get over Marcel once and for all."
The Sun Online exclusively revealed the theme for the latest series is "retribution".
Producers are taking the show back to its social experiment roots and have signed up stars ready to face their demons in front of the public.
The reality show bosses have Katie Price's ex Kieran Hayler top of their most-wanted list.
Stormy Daniels, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and The Chuckle Brothers have also all been tipped to go in the house.
In February, drag queen Courtney Act - real name Shane Jenek - won CBB after a final head-to-head with former MP Ann Widdecombe, who finished runner up.
