DANNY Dyer will voiceover a new MTV show hosted by Maya Jama when Love Island comes to an end next month.
The actor, whose daughter has charmed the nation in the Love Island villa, will lend True Love Or True Lies? his famous cockney voice for a proper "nawty" edge.
Starting at 9pm on August 6, the new show sees six loved up couples arrive at a mansion in Italy thinking they’re there to compete to be crowned The Perfect Couple and win £50,000.
What they don’t know is that hidden among them are fake couples, who have never been in a relationship before and are there to steal the money for themselves.
Every night they vote out one couple from the competition. If they vote out the fakes, the prize fund grows by £10,000.
Host Maya said: “I’m so excited to be hosting my very own show on MTV this summer! It was so fun to film. There were some amazing couples with incredible love stories in there, AND some seriously good liars so get involved and play along!”.
MTV has selected six duos from all walks of life to play daily love games, designed to test their relationship.
At the end of each day, the couples will take part in a Love Ceremony, giving them the opportunity to choose the pair they believe to be liars.
The couple with the most votes will leave the competition immediately.
Neither Maya or Danny know who the liars are and the liars don’t know who the other liars are.
Just days ago Danny's wife Jo revealed he is "jealous" and cries "every night" over his daughter Dani being away from home.
She appeared on spin-off show Aftersun on Sunday and opened up about how the EastEnders star is coping without his best pal and eldest kid.
Jo admitted Danny is a bit envious of all the fun Dani, 21, is having after finding boyfriend Jack Fincham on the show.
She told Caroline Flack: "I think he's a bit jealous, he does cry a lot. Every night. He really misses her.
She added: "I like Jack. I trust him yeah. I think he's caring for Dani, I think he's got her back."
