ROXANNE Pallet entered the Celebrity Big Brother house just weeks after being involved in a car crash.

The former Emmerdale star was airlifted to hospital after she blacked out after the accident - here is all the information about the accident.

What happened to Roxanne Pallet when her stock car crashed?

Roxanne Pallet, 35, was involved in an accident while racing a stock car at Hunmanby raceway near Scarborough in Yorkshire.

The actress blacked out for 30 seconds and was left with severe bruising and two sprained wrists after crashing into a wall.

She was then airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary where she underwent a CT scan.

A source at the time said they witnessed her being placed in a helicopter on a backboard with morphine to help the pain.

Why was Roxanne Pallet racing a stock car?

The accident occurred while Roxanne was racing against her Minister FM co-host Ben Fry to promote the Outlaw Gold Top Shootout event.

A source told The Sun Online: "She tried to overtake Ben on a bend and was travelling too fast and smashed into the concrete wall on the track."

"She lost consciousness for about 30 seconds on impact. Fortunately she was wearing a helmet and race gear."

Roxanne was cut free by firefighters after spending two hours in the wreckage.
