Danny Dyer says he ‘approves’ of Love Island’s Jack and calls him a ‘proper geezer’ during video call with daughter Dani
The EastEnders actor admitted he had initial reservations about Jack but has now changed his mind
DANNY Dyer has given his seal of approval to daughter Dani's boyfriend Jack Fincham.
During tonight's episode of the Love Island, Danny describes the stationery salesman as a "proper geezer."

Although he and wife Joanne Mas don't make it into the villa on 'friends and family day,' the EastEnders actor shares his thoughts on Jack during a video call to Dani.
He tells her: “Babe he’s lovely. He’s a proper geezer mate. You’ve found a right proper geezer in there.”
Danny then meets Jack for the first time and end up showering him with compliments.
He says: “Look at him, look at him. Look at his little face. Do you know what Jack, listen. Proper geezer, gotta say."

He goes on to compliment Jack on his toned physique, saying: "I’ll tell you what I love about you, I love the fact you got a little Derby (belly).
"You got so much charisma. Takes a brave man to bowl into that gaff, them all ‘abbed up’, proper geezer. Honestly mate, we’re so over the moon.”
However, he did admit he initially had reservations, telling Jack: "Listen I approve of you mate. I think you're absolutely bang on.
"I weren't at first, I thought 'here we go.'"

Jack was unsurprisingly relieved at getting the nod from the famous hard man.
He told the Beach Hut: "It's nerve racking. The fact that he approves of me and he likes me, I just thought 'That's brilliant.'
"Dani must feel so relieved."

Earlier, Danny told his daughter that ignoring his advice and going on the show was the right thing to do.
He said: "No listen I will say, I got it wrong baby. I told you not to do it.

Dani's mum Joanne teases her husband about getting emotional while watching the show.
He admits: "I ain't been crying every night. I haven't cried that much honestly."
