The thriller is so tense, it's said to be scarier than Netflix's Veronica, which is based on a true story and is so terrifying viewers can't make it to the end.
Film critics have hailed Don't Breathe director Fede Alvarez as a "standout master of suspense".
Critic Laura Kern said: "Creating true crawl-under-the-seat, palm-piercing, cover-your-eyes tension is a rare, undervalued cinematic art.
"There’s certainly no shortage of filmmakers who give it a try, but only a select few would make Hitchcock proud…

Jane Levy - who's best known for Suburgatory - plays Rocky who gets involved in burgling the blind veteran to raise money for her and her younger sister to escape their abusive household.

An official trailer for the thriller was released on 13th May 2016 and has received almost 24 million views so far.
The movie was released on 26th August 2016 and made a whopping $1.3 million in its UK debut.
Uruguayan filmmaker Fede Alvarez directed the horror movie.
As well as the smash hit Don't Breathe, he's best known for directing Evil Dead and Ataque de Panico.
Fede was confirmed to take the lead on the reboot of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series.
He directed The Girl in the Spider's Web which will be released on 5th October 2018.
