LOVE Island reaches its climax this evening after eight long weeks of love, rows and sex.
But while some of this year’s stars have been caught romping under the covers multiple times, some of the raunchiest scenes never got shown on screen.
Who’s had sex on screen?
Megan and Eyal became the first Love Island couple to have sex in the villa.
After going on a date in episode sixteen, they shared a steamy night together in the Hideaway where they took things further than a kiss.
Wes and Laura became the second couple to go all the way after the pair got intimate and Laura let it slip the next morning to the girls.
Fan were also convinced Megan had sex again, this time with Alex Miller after the pair could be seen rolling around in bed after she sacked off Eyal for the new hunk.
She eventually settled down with Wes and the pair hooked up multiple times in the past few weeks.
They even had viewers in hysterics when they tried to enjoy some afternoon delight – much to the annoyance of Jack Fincham.
Kaz and Josh also confirmed they had “done bits” in the Hideout, just like Georgia and Josh did when they were dating.
Why didn’t we see all the sex?
The Sun Online exclusively revealed the real reason bosses toned down the amount of romps in this year’s series.
New rules introduced at the start of the show meant unless the islanders wanted to talk about the sex scenes, they wouldn’t be shown on screen.
What has been shown on TV however is plenty of kissing under the covers with the lights on and off.
So while some viewers might have thought this series has been suffering from a dry spell, our source said there has been loads of sex.
They explained: “Producers had a rule this year that meant unless the islanders talk about the sex they won’t show it on screen.
“So like with the Do Bits Society, if they talk about it they show it. But if they don’t, then it won’t make the cut.
“It’s pretty respectful and some of the cast have been using it to their full advantage.
