STRICTLY bosses are struggling desperately to attract big names.
The show curse has put stars off joining host Tess Daly for the 16th series.
Strictly bosses scrambling to attract A-listers have made a regional breakfast show DJ this year’s first signing.
Capital FM host Vick, 28, is single so will escape the curse putting off many top stars.
Chiefs also banning reality stars for the 16th series this autumn.
An insider said: “Strictly has always been a massive draw in the past, but it hasn’t been as easy this year.
"They’ve asked loads of top names, but with people like Louise Redknapp and Ben Cohen in mind, many in relationships are saying no.
“Bosses are obviously hoping to bring in some bigger names, but they need everyone signed by the end of this month.”
Singer Louise ended her 18-year marriage to footie star Jamie following her 2016 stint on the show.
Rugby hero Ben split from wife Abby and now has a baby with his pro dancer Kristina Rihanoff.
Vick, a former club dancer, hosts the Capital FM Breakfast Show and 4Music’s Trending Live.
The Cambridge graduate also hosts Sky One’s Carnage. She has been linked to Myles of band Rak-Su.

Other rumoured signings are Stormzy’s girlfriend Maya Jama, TV presenter Anneka Rice and ex-EastEnder Samantha Womack.
Two confirmed as back are dancers Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell on a night out in London this week.
The BBC said: “We do not comment on speculation. The line-up will be announced in due course.”
