PAUL Elliott is one half of the Chuckle Brothers - the legendary TV comedy duo who entertained millions of kids across the nation.
The 72-year-old from Rotherham has has a tough few years after he contracted coronavirus and his brother passed away.
How old is Paul Elliott?
The children's entertainer, was born in October 1947 - making him 72 years old - and raised in Rotherham, south Yorkshire.
He rose to prominence, alongside brother Barry, as part of the Chuckle Brothers in TV series ChuckleVision.
Sadly Barry passed away aged 73 in 2018 after suffering from bone cancer.
On his brother and co-star's death, Paul said: “It’s like losing my right arm being without him,
“Working on stage with him is what I miss most. No one could make me laugh like he could. We started out in show-business together when he was 18 and I was 15, and we were never apart from then on."
As well as Barry, he also had two older brothers - Jimmy and Brian (now 84 years old) - who made up another successful comedy double act The Patton Brothers - Jimmy passed away aged 87 in July 2019.
How did the Chuckle Brothers find fame?
The Chuckle Brothers are originally from Rotherham and were introduced to the stage at a young age by their father, James Elliott.
Barry initially went by the stage name Gene Patton and worked the London club scene, even performing with an 18-year-old Peter Sellers in 1943.
Barry and Paul first broke onto the BBC in 1985 with the show Chuckle Hounds, which was aimed at pre-school children and saw the comedy duo dressed as dogs.
But they found fame with ChuckleVision, which became known for the brothers' catchphrase 'To Me To You' and won a host of awards.
The show was one of the longest running children's programmes on the BBC, continuing for 22 years from 1987 to 2009.

Is Paul Elliott married?
Paul is married to Sue.
The couple own various properties in the UK and abroad including in France, Greece and Italy.
Sue is not in the public eye, so little is known about her profession or background.
In 1975, Paul's three-month-old daughter, Nicola, died from a rare liver problem.
