When did the Chuckle Brothers release To Me, To You (Bruv) with Tinchy Stryder?
In quite the unlikely pairing the Chuckle Brothers teamed up with British rapper Tinchy Stryder for the charity single.
It was released on October 23rd 2014 in aid of the African-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust.
Tinchy had been a fan of the famous duo as a child and when he met them on Celebrity Juice they immediately hit it off.
Not long after the programme, a video of the three in a studio appeared online. before the official music video for the song was released.
The video was set on a typical British suburban street similar to the setting of a typical ChuckleVision episode.
Tinchy, the Chuckle Brothers, Jamal Edwards and Dirty Danger all appear in the video.
They're seen dancing, arguing over a ladder and playing ping pong throughout the clip.
The song peaked in the UK charts at number 92.
What are the lyrics?
Hello
Hello
Wait, I swear you're the Chuckle Brothers
You must be Barry and he's Paul
Nah something's weird, where's your ladders?
In the van, go get 'em Barry
What now? Yeah, just a minute
Here's Tinchy
It isn't, it is! It isn't, it is! Is it? Yeah!
Yeah it's me, look up there
There's a leak, you're exactly the pair I need
Wait in fact, let me ask one question
One question? Just one
I respect you both so you're welcome here
But who or what really brought you here?
Gang in the van, silly question
Yeah, what a silly question
Oh, cheeky and rude
I know my role, you play yours too
And put them ladders up
Yeah, before you trip over laces, tie up your shoes
I wear slip ons, get the ladders Barry!
Wait, over here, quick word
Barry's got shoes and they come with laces
You must have both misheard
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
Oh, just stop with that me to you, to me to you, to me to you stuff
We've both got things to do from me to you, to me to you bruv, "what?"
Oh, just stop with that me to you, to me to you, to me to you stuff
We've both got things to do from me to you, to me to you bruv
You're two funny dudes, jokes aside, no pun intended, mind your own business
It is our business. We want to sing a song
We can do a duet?
Three-et, there's three of us
Nah, nah that's a step too far
In fact, you can rap, take the next two bars
Hippity-hop, bibble-be-boop-boop
Oh my!
So, what do you think Tinchy?
Do you think we should put down a track?
Look, I met you at Keith Lemon's show, y'know
And I said I've got a leak
But it was great mate, y'know
Of course, we could sing about a leak, couldn't we?
I dunno, I dunno if we should do any songs together
You see the thing is, we sing
Nah, nah, nah, let's get this straight
La, we sing songs
Yeah but, I mean, you'd need to sing with us
Nah, I respect you, but bruv, please
Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, oh dear
Alright then Tinchy, we'll see ya
Yeah, we better go then, see ya then, bye
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
To me, to you
To me, to you then
Could the song be number 1?
Chuckle Brothers fans have launched a campaign to get their collaboration with Tinchy Stryder to number one after Barry's death.
