THE Real Marigold Hotel has returned to take celebrities across to the other side of the world to experience a more modest way of life.

From Grand National winners to I'm A Celeb stars, here is the full list of celebrities that headed out to India for the third series of the BBC Two show.

Who's in the cast of The Real Marigold Hotel?

Selina Scott

The 67-year-old former TV presenter has had an extensive career in the media as one of the most recognised newsreaders of her generation.

After reading English and American Literature at the University of East Anglia she joined The Sunday Post in Dundee.

Selina worked her way up and first came to public recognition when she covered the Falklands War as a newsreader on ITV's News at Ten.

She was one of the key players in the launch of breakfast TV in the UK and joined BBC's Breakfast Time in 1983.

Susan George

Susan George is an English film and TV actress and film producer, best known for her role as Amy Summer in the 1971 psychological thriller Straw Dogs alongside Dustin Hoffman.

The actress is also an Arabian horse breeder and runs 20 Arab horses on Exmoor. She was married to the late actor Simon MacCorkindale and was previously linked to Prince Charles.

Stephanie Beacham

The glam 71-year-old is an English actress who's probably best known for her iconic role as Sable Colby in Dynasty.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for her role in the NBC sitcom Sister Kate and made her big screen debut in the 1970 film The Games.

Stephanie starred opposite Marlon Brando in the 1971 film The Nightcomers and has also made appearances in BBC drama Tenko and the ITV drama Connie.

As well as her extensive TV and film career, the actress also had a stint on Channel 4's final series of Celebrity Big Brother, where she became the only female to make it to the final.

Ian and Janette Tough (aka The Krankies)

Ian and Janette Tough are best known as their comedy stage act The Krankies. The family favourites are the first couple to appear in the series.

The pair started out as a cabaret act but in 1976, the character of Wee Jimmy Frankie was born and they became a successful ventriloquist act.

' breakthrough year came in 1978 when they were picked as the surprise act for The Royal Variety Show where they were introduced to The Queen.

Janette and Ian's act found its way onto television and they have appeared in such shows as Crackerjack, French and Saunders, and K.T.V.

Syd Little

Providing even more laughs is 75-year-old comedian Syd Little. He's best known as being one half of the comedy double act Little and Large with Eddie Large.

Little and Large rose to fame after winning ITV talent show Opportunity Knocks in 1971 and their show ran from 1978-1991. At its peak it was seen by 18 million viewers.

Prior to his TV fame, the 75-year-old worked as an interior designer before touring Manchester pubs as a singer and guitarist, where he formed his partnership with Eddie McGinnis.

He was last seen on the small screen in 2015, where he took part in BBC's Celebrity MasterChef but he was eliminated after the third round.

Peter Dean

Peter Dean is a 79-year-old British actor best known for playing Peter Beale in the soap EastEnders.

He was recommended a career in acting after Fawlty Towers star Prunella Scales witnessed him prepare for a production of Shakespeare.

His breakout performance was playing criminal Jack Lynn in Law And Order and he has also starred in Doctor Who, The Bill, and had a small role in Coronation Street.

Peter is a practising Buddhist so may take to the scenic surroundings of Udaipur easier than some of the other retirées.

Stanley Johnson

Politician, author - and father of Boris Johnson - Stanley has already had a stint in the I'm A Celeb jungle so is likely to find this experience a piece of cake in comparison.

The 77-year-old was Conservative MEP for Wight & Hampshire East from 1979 to 1984  and has written dozens of books including an autobiography entitled Stanley, I Resume.

He appeared in I'm A Celebrity in 2017 and was the fifth person to be eliminated. During his time on the show, he grew close to Made In Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo.

This led to Stanley making a cameo in Made In Chelsea for the first episode of series 15 in March 2018.

Bob Champion

70-year-old Bob is a former jump jockey who won the 1981 Grand National, two years after developing testicular cancer for which he had to receive orchidectomy treatment.

His success was even turned into the film Champions which saw John Hurt portraying him on screen.

The talented sportsman also won the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup and the Whitbread Trial Chase, and in 1982 he was appointed an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.

More recently he was awarded the Helen Rollason award as part of the 2011 BBC Sports Personality of the Year competition in 2011.
